Eastenders X Frozen Planet

On October 12th, a one-off special of the iconic Eastenders credits showed a hypothetical scene of the Thames bursting its banks, depicting parts of London under water. From the flooded aerial image, we then zoom out from London to see the planet and the arctic, underlining the message that the challenge of melting ice in the arctic could one day affect us much closer to home.

I artworked the flooded Thames as well as building the 3D scene across the Earth to bring us into the Frozen Planet trail.

The trail received 3 gold Creative Circle awards, 1 gold Campaign Big award and two Promax awards. It also garnered lots of positive press including articles from The Drum, The Independent, Metro and The Sun.
