Eurovision Song Contest 2025

Once a year every power supply in Europe is plugged in to one venue for a dazzling, high-energy spectacle. This year, I was part of the team at Luke Halls Studio that brought the magic with stunning multi-screen visuals. I focused on the moments between performances. This included introductory graphics for each nation’s performance, evolving the core live-visual branding, and creating all messaging content housed within the front-layer AR screen.

AGENCY: LUKE HALLS STUDIO | ROLE: MOTION-DESIGN, DEVELOPMENT | MOTION DESIGNERS: LUKE GEORGIOU, ROB HALES, JASON MOSS, MICHAEL LUDMAN | CREATIVE DIRECTORS: LUKE HALLS & MARK TODD | PRODUCER: BRIDGET VUILLERMIN

The name of the game with Eurovision is high-intensity spectacle, so we opted for striking neon strokes and bold colours that work alongside the venue’s dazzling lighting design. These ‘Postcard-Transition’ wipes and intro ‘Activation’ stings introduce every act, customised to their assigned colours and song info.

Development

There were a huge number of deliverables for this event, and I was also involved in developing other key elements, such as the ‘Home’ and ‘Voting’ looks. We worked with a multi-angled pre-vis scene tailored to the venue’s many screens.
